George Richard Allen, 70, a lifetime Tarrant County resident, died Monday at his home in Haltom City.
Allen, a native of Keller, owned and operated Allen Feed and Chick Store for 20 years.
He was a counselor at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park and a member of Rosen Heights Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Alice, a daughter Mrs. Judy Knight of Fort Worth, one sister, Mrs. Mary Ellen Willis of Fort Worth, eight brothers, Edward S. Allen, Earnest L. Allen, James A. Allen, R. Earl Allen, Robert Allen and C. Floyd Allen, all of Fort Worth, Lee R. Allen of Dallas and John H. Allen of Anchorage, Alaska and two grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Rosen Heights Baptist Church, with burial in Bluebonnet Hills.
