Funeral: 10 a.m. Monday at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Chapel. Burial Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. Visitation 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Memorials: The family suggest memorials to the Salvation Army.
Mr. Allen was a Navy veteran of Worth War II where he served on the USS Counsel Minesweeper. He was a longtime member of Haltom Road Baptist Church.
Survivors: wife, Mary Allen; daughters, Janette Bowerman and Jonette Stoddard and husband Jim; grandson, Steven and Cody Bowerman; sister, Mary Ellen Glass of Paris, John Allen of Granbury
